It's about that time again. The elections for Guam are coming and you can see all the billboards coming up for all the candidates. For the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Guam the candidates are:

Eddie Baza Calvo and Ray Tenorio
Carl Gutierrez and Frank Aguon Jr.
Mike Cruz and James Espaldon

So far it looks like the Calvotenorio team has the lead as they were the first one to put billboards up all over the island, with Gutierrez and Aguon second, and finally Cruz and Espaldon just recently announcing their run for office of the Governor of Guam and Lieutenant Govern of Guam.

So are there going to be more announcements for new candidates? What are your thoughts for this years election for the Governor of Guam?

Seems like the Calvo Tenorio team is everywhere. I see their advertising all over the place - billboards along the streets, television commercials, but haven't heard a radio commercial for them yet. Anyway, it's probably going to be a race between Calvo and Gutierrez for Governor of Guam. Luckily, Gutierrez court case is done; it could have hurt his image and taken valuable time away from him which he could have used in his efforts to win Governor of Guam again. Anyway, I'd like to see Gutierrez win since he is sort of the underdog in my opinion, and the Calvo's have to much control of Guam already.
