The Guam Visitors Bureau is looking for interested candidates for the title of 2008 Miss Guam Tourism.
The pageant is tentatively scheduled for April 25, and the application deadline is Feb. 25.
Contestants will compete for a chance to win a $2,500 cash prize and earn up to $4,000 cash during her reign, and will represent Guam in off-island trips, professional fees for work performed at home and abroad, and more.
Other pageant categories are best in swimsuit, best in evening gown, best in native costume, Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, people’s choice, and first and second runners-up.
Pageant requirements are:
• Single, female
• Age 18 to 28
• Minimum height of 5 feet-3 inches
• Resident of Guam for at least two years
• High school graduate
• Valid U.S. passport
