Gas Prices on Guam

are the gas prices on Guam still really high? this is one thing I don't miss about Guam, here in the mainland gas is very cheap. what are the gas prices on Guam right now anyone?

according to the newspaper on May 13, 2009 gas prices on Guam for unleaded gasoline is $2.99 and for premium gas it is $3.04 per gallon. average price for gas nationwide in the US is $2.24 per gallon so yes, Guam gas is expensive. I don't think it will ever be cheap on Guam since the island is in the middle of no-where in the Pacific Ocean and the costs of shipping gas to the island is more expensive.

I just saw in the Guam Pacific Daily News a few days ago that Shell is raising gas prices again which usually means Mobil and 76 Stations will also be increasing their gas prices.
